BNH 220 Cast Iron Material
Built to OEM deck height, main size and 86mm stand bore size.
Increased Deck Thickness to .750” from OEM average .300”
Increased Bore Thickness - .290” min wall thickness at max 88mm bore.
Increased Crankcase Thickness to .250” from OEM average of .090”
Revised Oiling Gallery Location - raised upward to provide proper thickness when block is machined for 94mm stroke and aluminum rods.
4-Bolt Main Cap Design, OEM blocks use all 2 bolt cast caps.
Standard Main Studs, 12MM inner and 10MM outer studs and front 6 caps, rear cap is 2 bolt design with 12MM studs.
Block provisions with work with all OEM accessories, front/rear cover, water pump and both from and rear sump OEM oil pans.
Removed cross over watering passages between bores, making Darts version a true Siemese bore design.
Screw-in aluminum anodized freeze plugs.
All oil passages feature ORB style screw in plugs.
Provisions for screw in restriction for cylinder head oiling passage in deck of head.
Revised head stud casting bulk heads, to allow upgraded 1/2-13 head stud machining.
Dual turbo oil feed provisions.
Bell housing bolt pattern options, Toyota or Chevy transmission bolt patterns.
Finish block weight will be 73.6kg, which is around 13kg heavier then race prepped OEM block.
